    1. She is someone who has real connections all over the place and can really help market my product by researching possible target markets, etc.

Industry Supplier: I could not find someone in this area.

Reflect: This experience requires you to do a little 'targeted networking.' How will this experience shape how you participate in any future networking events? Did this experience differ from your networking experiences in the past? How?
  • This was a very difficult assignment to conduct. Finding people whose schedule matched mine and that they were able to answer messages in a timely manner was what cost me to not be able to complete the Industry Supplier section on time. But, it was quite nice to interact with people who can possibly be future connections. The networking experience this time around was different than those in the past because I had to ask questions about a potential product I'm coming up with in my head so I had to actually believe what I was saying. I had to come up with sophisticated questions and answers.

  1. Hi Giuliana,
I also share in your feeling that this assignment was difficult. I believe the schedule differences was a big factor in finding people I could actually talk to. But a trick I did was that I just sent my elevator pitch over email if I couldn't pitch to them in person. But I do think the assignment shows just how networking works, talking to people in multiple fields and industries so your circle of connections is well rounded.

  2. Hey Giuliana, this assignment was so difficult, trying to find people that would take time out of their schedules to talk to a college student. It was really smart of you to interview the people that you did, the most interesting one that I found was the undercover cop, I know you said that it was a friend of your dad but still probably gave you good insight. Good luck with the industry expert next time.

  3. Hi Guiliana,
I found that this assignment was also very difficult to do. My main problem was that I didn't have an extensive network, so I didn't know who to contact. For my service, I just picked people that I knew was majoring in that specific field. I think it's really helpful that you had connections that would allow you to have specialist that are actually working. While you didn't have an industry supplier, you did a very great job interviewing the people that you already did.
